Visa
Due to the recent change of rules and
regulations on Thailand visa, staff members who are holders
of UNLP are now required to have a visa before their arrival
to Bangkok, Thailand. And, for those, who are traveling along
with their family members who are holders of national passports,
they need to consult the following links for visa requirements.
There are certain countries that have concluded an agreement
on the exemption of visa requirement for diplomatic or official
passport or service/special passport with Thailand. Those
countries are listed on the following web link:

If you have a difficulty in obtaining an entry visa to Thailand,

Accommodation
The UNDP Evaluation Policy Regional
Workshop will be held at the Amari Watergate Hotel which is
the same hotel that all participants will be accommodated.
Payment for the accommodation will be covered by the Evaluation
Office, including breakfast and lunch. Any other expenses
will be settling by the individuals upon their check-out.

Participants are requested to confirm their dates and times
of arrival/departure directly to the hotel reservation office
by mentioning of “participation to the UNDP Evaluation
Policy Regional Workshop/UNDP group reservation”.
All other incidental expenses at the Hotel are the responsibility
of the participant. Items taken from the guestroom, mini-bar,
laundry, telephone calls, internet connectivity etc. will
be charged to your personal account and must be settled in
full before check out.

Buffet breakfast and lunch
Buffet and lunch are prearranged as part
of the conference for 17-19 October. If you choose to have
meals outside the pre-arranged hotel restaurant, the bill
for this will have to be settled personally |

Transportation from the Airport
Participants are expected to organize
their own transportation to and from Suvarnabhumi International
Airport and the Amari Watergate Hotel. The Suvarnabhumi International
Airport is approximately 25 minutes by car to the hotel.
Hotel Limousine:
The Amari Watergate also provides airport
limousine (one way or roundtrip) as follows:
Van (Maximum 6 persons per vehicle)
THB 1,705.- net per car, per way.
If you prefer to have hotel limousine,
you may request the service at the same time of room reservation.
Directions from Airport to Hotel
If you take a taxi ask for: “The Amari Watergate Hotel,
Pratunam”. The taxi driver should be able to take you
right to the hotel.

Services
All participants are requested to bring
laptops that have wireless internet connection capability
to use during the hands-on sessions of the workshops. Laptops/computers
will not be provided at the training. |
